Welcome, Mentors & Volunteers

The potential of a child may be limitless, but not all children get the support they need to thrive.  Studies have proven that mentoring can increase a child's self esteem, improve their academics, and give them the confidence they need to make a better future for themselves. The Philadelphia Children’s Foundation hopes to foster growth in the mentoring community by recruiting and encouraging adults in our community to discover ways they can teach, guide and pass on living skills to children who need it.

Looking for a volunteer activity that is both satisfying and rewarding?
Mentoring offers a great experience for both child and mentor. Find a way to invest your valuable time while making it fun and enjoyable. Check out the resources below to see how you can be more involved with the mentoring process.
